All together now

The best way to test all the "useful" stuff in your arsenal is to take it on a road trip.  Being in the middle of one of those occasions I thought I'd put some of the equipment to the test. Here is the combination of the Gorilla tripod and the iPhone, both fit nicely in my messenger bag.

It used to be all the power adapters which took half of a suitcase to transport, now with most of the devices being powered via USB port it is hardly noticeable.

The only additional thing to remember is an power strip to accommodate all the plug ins.

Here is the outcome of the above picture setup, I especially like the time lapse feature on the iPhone. The burst mode is equally impressive, especially in the 10 second self timer mode - ten different images to chose from right away.
